2020 HOGHTON TOWER APRIL SPRINT – RESHEDULED
Today the committee of Marshals North West have had to make the decision to postpone the 44th Hoghton Tower Sprint scheduled to take place on the 5th April 2020.
With yesterday’s (16th March) significant change in the Government’s guidelines regarding the Coronavirus and concerns raised by our members and competitors, the committee made the decision to postpone this morning. Since making this decision a further announcement has been issued by the ACU suspending all competition and social activity until 30th April 2020.
Following discussion between ourselves and the Hoghton Tower Trust, we are now able to confirm the following contingency plan for the 2020 sprints.
The 5th April 2020 sprint will be reschedule to the 27th September 2020.
The 26th July 2020 sprint will continue as planned. However we shall continue to review the situation along with the Government’s guidelines and advice from the ACU.
Should we be forced to further postpone the 26th July 2020 sprint we have contingency for a 2 day meeting over the weekend of the 26th and 27th September 2020.
We shall be contacting all entrants for the April sprint over the next few days.
